This DMCA and Intellectual Property Notice explains how Paladin Labs LLC ("Paladin Labs," "HabitatOS," "we," "us," or "our") handles copyright, trademark, and intellectual property concerns related to HabitatOS. This Notice is part of the HabitatOS Terms of Use.
HabitatOS, including its software, design, interfaces, branding, workflows, templates, documentation, species database, layouts, logos, trade names, and related materials, is owned by Paladin Labs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.
Using HabitatOS does not transfer ownership of the Service or Paladin Labs intellectual property to you.
You retain ownership of content you submit to HabitatOS, such as reptile photos, notes, care logs, passport records, breeder/source information, transfer notes, health-check records, and other user-generated content. By submitting, uploading, syncing, sharing, exporting, or transferring User Content through HabitatOS, you grant Paladin Labs the limited rights needed to host, store, process, display, transmit, back up, convert, compress, organize, export, and otherwise use that content to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights needed to upload, share, publish, transfer, or export your User Content.
HabitatOS may identify compatibility with third-party sensor, device, app-store, payment, authentication, hosting, or platform providers.
Provider names, trademarks, logos, or brand references belong to their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, reference to a third-party provider does not mean that HabitatOS is sponsored, endorsed, certified, or approved by that provider.
If you believe content available through HabitatOS infringes your copyright, you may send a copyright notice to
Paladin Labs LLC, 11 Municipal Drive, Suite 200, PMB 1022, Fishers, Indiana 46038, United States, or email

Please include "Copyright Notice" or "DMCA Notice" in the subject line.
To help us review your notice, include your full legal name and contact information; identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; identification of the material you claim is infringing, including enough detail for us to locate it; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
If your content was removed or disabled because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice.
A counter-notice should include your full legal name and contact information; identification of the material that was removed or disabled; the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal court and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent; and your physical or electronic signature.
We may suspend or terminate accounts, disable content, remove public links, or restrict access where we reasonably believe a user has repeatedly infringed intellectual property rights or violated the Terms of Use.
If you believe HabitatOS content misuses your trademark, brand name, logo, or other intellectual property, contact Support@habitatos.io with enough information for us to review the issue.
Please include the mark or work at issue, the location of the content, your relationship to the rights holder, and a description of the concern.
Submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith intellectual property complaints or counter-notices may have legal consequences. You should consult counsel if you are unsure whether material is infringing or whether you are authorized to submit a notice.
We may update this Notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date.
Consistent with applicable law, we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
