These App Store and Google Play Supplemental Terms apply when you download, access, purchase, subscribe to, or use HabitatOS through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app distribution platform. These Supplemental Terms are part of the HabitatOS Terms of Use.
If you download or purchase HabitatOS through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app platform, your use of the app may also be governed by that platform's terms, rules, policies, payment terms, refund policies, and developer program requirements.
To the extent these Supplemental Terms or the HabitatOS Terms of Use conflict with mandatory platform terms, the mandatory platform terms control only for that conflict.
HabitatOS subscriptions or paid features may be offered through Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another payment or app-store platform.
When you purchase through Apple, Google, or another platform, that platform may process your payment, manage renewals, calculate taxes, provide receipts, determine refund eligibility, and control cancellation procedures. Deleting your HabitatOS account or uninstalling the app does not necessarily cancel an app-store subscription. You must cancel through the platform that bills you.
If you downloaded HabitatOS from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and Paladin Labs LLC, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for HabitatOS or its content; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for HabitatOS, except where required by applicable law; Apple may be a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary; and any claims related to HabitatOS should be directed to Paladin Labs, not Apple, except where Apple's own terms or applicable law provide otherwise.
If you downloaded HabitatOS from Google Play, these Terms are between you and Paladin Labs LLC, not Google; Google is not responsible for HabitatOS or its content; Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for HabitatOS, except where required by applicable law; subscription management, cancellation, refund requests, and payment issues may need to be handled through Google Play according to Google's policies; and any claims related to HabitatOS should be directed to Paladin Labs, not Google, except where Google's own terms or applicable law provide otherwise.
Refunds for purchases made through Apple, Google, or another app-store/payment platform are generally handled by that platform according to its own refund policies.
Except where required by law or applicable platform policy, Paladin Labs does not provide refunds, credits, or prorated refunds for partial subscription periods, unused features, accidental purchases, account inactivity, app removal, or failure to cancel before renewal.
HabitatOS may require compatible devices, operating systems, app versions, network access, platform accounts, app-store access, and third-party services.
Some features may not be available on all devices, platforms, countries, app versions, beta programs, or distribution channels.
HabitatOS may request permissions such as camera access, photo-library access, push notification access, local storage access, or other app permissions. Permission availability and controls may vary by device and operating system.
You can usually manage app permissions through your device settings.
