and usable for as many people as possible.
This Accessibility Statement applies to the HabitatOS mobile application, website, and related digital services.
We aim to design and maintain HabitatOS in a way that supports users with diverse access needs, including users who rely on assistive technologies, keyboard navigation, screen readers, voice control, display scaling, color contrast, and other accessibility features.
Where practical, we aim to align with widely recognized accessibility principles, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
HabitatOS is an evolving product. We are continuing to improve accessibility across the app and website, including areas such as clear labels for controls, buttons, inputs, and navigation; support for assistive technologies where practical; readable text, sufficient contrast, and scalable layouts; consistent navigation and focus behavior; accessible forms, modals, alerts, and settings screens; alternatives or labels for meaningful images and icons; and avoiding reliance on color alone to communicate important information.
Some parts of HabitatOS may not yet fully meet all accessibility goals. Certain mobile controls, custom UI components, charts, dashboards, image-based content, sensor displays, passport views, or third-party embedded features may have limitations for some users or assistive technologies.
Third-party services, app stores, sensor providers, payment platforms, and linked websites may have their own accessibility practices and limitations.
HabitatOS is a mobile-first app. Accessibility behavior may vary depending on device, operating system, screen reader, app version, display settings, installed fonts, third-party libraries, and platform-specific limitations. Users may be able to improve accessibility by adjusting device settings such as text size, contrast, reduce motion, screen reader settings, voice control, or display scaling.
We aim for the HabitatOS website at https://habitatos.io to be usable and understandable. Website accessibility may depend on browser, device, network conditions, Webflow behavior, assistive technology compatibility, and third-party embedded content.
